In her free time Amy is drawn to the water and you'll often find her at one of Oregon's beautiful rivers or camping in the woods near a lake or stream. She is also the mother of two nearly grown boys that she is proud to watch as they grow and find their places in the world.
Teresa is also one of the owners at Sevati. She discovered massage in childhood. Noticing her parents and eventually herself seeking relief from pain, she turned to massage and yoga. She studied at the Florida School of Massage and has practiced yoga with many different teachers across the country.
Immediately after school she found her niche at a chiropractic rehab facility inside a local gym. This encouraged her love of fitness and her focus of her skills in injury rehab, deep tissue, and trigger point massage.
Teresa has made health education her an integral part of her life. A recent graduate of Portland State University where she majored in Health Studies and minored in Biology, she has incorporated her knowledge of the body and it's structural depth to offer a truly holistic massage that are a combination of relaxation and structural assessment that help ease stress, relieve pain, and relax the mind to a achieve a truly healing experience.
Over the last decade Portland has inspired her obsession with bicycles and and alternative transportation advocacy. When she's not working, she is traveling the Pacific Northwest with her dog Rita to mountain bike, volunteer with local non-profits, and enjoying nature. She enjoys being crafty, remodeling homes, and taking long naps in the park on sunny days.
